Terms of Use

1. Scope

These Terms govern your use of SkillUp Space at skill-up.space. The platform is operated by CYBILAS Ltd. („СИБИЛАС" ЕООД), UIC 208819078 (cybilas.com), hereinafter "we"/"the Platform". By registering or using the platform you accept these Terms.

2. The service

SkillUp Space provides online courses, the AI Readiness Assessment, учебни пътеки, certificates upon course completion, and supplementary materials. Some content is free (including the assessment); other content is paid.

3. Account

• To purchase paid content you need an account with accurate details.
• You are responsible for your password.
• One user = one account. No account sharing.
• You may delete your account at any time via /account.

4. Purchases and payments

• Prices are in EUR (€) and are final. CYBILAS Ltd. is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged.
• Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card data.
• You receive immediate access on successful payment.

5. Right of withdrawal (EU Consumer Rights Directive)

As an EU consumer you have 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason. You can exercise this right online via the “Withdraw from contract here” function (two steps, confirmed by email) or by emailing office@skill-up.space.

For digital content delivered immediately after payment (video lessons, downloadable materials) we ask, before payment, for your express consent to begin performance immediately and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. Without that consent the right of withdrawal is retained. The consent is recorded with a timestamp.

We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of demonstrable abuse.

Refunds are processed via Stripe to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days and no later than 14 days after we receive your withdrawal.

6. Certificates

Certificates are issued automatically at 100% course completion, with a unique verification code.

The certificate is an internal document of SkillUp Space issued by CYBILAS Ltd. It attests completion of the specific course. It is not a vocational qualification document under the Bulgarian Vocational Education and Training Act, is not a state-recognised document, and does not by itself evidence that you or your organisation meet any legal obligation (for example under the EU AI Act or GDPR). Courses support building knowledge and skills; completing them does not guarantee compliance.

7. Promo / access codes

Codes are personal, have a usage limit and validity period, and cannot be exchanged for money.

8. User conduct

Prohibited: copying, redistributing or reselling content; automated scraping or bots; bypassing payment, CAPTCHA, rate limits or security; posting unlawful or abusive content in reviews; creating fake accounts. Violations may result in account suspension or termination without refund.

9. Intellectual property

All content (videos, texts, materials, design, logos, source code and databases) is the property of CYBILAS Ltd. („СИБИЛАС" ЕООД, UIC 208819078) or its licensors and is protected by copyright and related-rights law and international treaties. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence for personal use. Any reproduction, distribution, scraping, or automated extraction of substantial parts of the platform or its database without prior written consent is prohibited.

10. AI and automated decisions

Courses and tools may include AI assistants. They are provided "as is" and do not replace professional advice. Always review and validate AI-generated content before using it in production — especially in domains where decisions affect real people (EU AI Act requirement).

11. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkillUp Space is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, data loss, or business interruption. Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. For material changes you will be notified by email or by a visible notice on the site.

13. Governing law and disputes

Bulgarian law applies. Disputes are resolved amicably; if not possible, by the competent Bulgarian court. As a consumer you may also turn to the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection (kzp.bg) and the ADR bodies listed there; the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025.
